1. If you were God for a day, what would you do?
WORLD PEACE.
Total Ms. Congeniality moment there. This is a tough question, because I would never want to disturb the worlds natural way of doing things so i could stop all natural disasters or stop pain and suffering or hunger. Maybe instead if I were god, I would instill in people their own self worth. That way I think people wouldn't act like scum in business dealings, they wouldn't need to hurt others feelings in order to make themselves feel better. It would just be a good thing for every person to realize that they are worth more than standing on a street corner or being nagged at by a boss, when people deserve more. 


I also would make sure that NO ONE owns wild animals, because they deserve to be wild. I am only saying that, because of my new freakish obsessions with the TV series called, Fatal Attractions.

2. If you could be the parent of one famous person, who would you want it to be and why?
Jaden Smith, that kid is wonderful. He has such a great attitude about everything, I love watching him on shows like Letterman or Ellen, the kid seriously has to be the most fun, charming young man ever. Probably because he was raised by Will, good old Will. I have always loved Will Smith so consequently to Jaden being my son, I would be married to Will Smith.

I have seen many of my friends doing a 30 blog challenge. From all that I have read, it takes 30 days to make a habit, so if you post for 30 days in a row then you will start wanting to blog like a mad man! I like the concept.

Shia Takes the Spotlight!

Everything this dog does is really cute, but for some reason last night she was being overly cute. She was really tired and kept going in her kennel to sleep. Then I would wake her up and she was really confused and she'd jump on the bed and curl up in the weirdest positions. I swear to you, this is no average bulldog.

• if there is water or food anywhere she WILL cleverly find it
• she eats snow as if it were making her money

I have talked to at least 3 to 4 other bull dog owners in the past week, and they all say that Shia is very different from their pups.

Everything's Going to be Alright

I decided to come  out of my sick hole today. I have been hacking, mucusy, flu-ey sick since Sunday. Monday I had no school so I slept in and went to work and managed alright. Yesterday things had gotten worse, so I stayed home and worked off my laptop in my jammies all day.

Then today, I thought I HAVE TO BE GETTING BETTER! I am never really sick for this long, sometimes I fake it, so I can get out of things, but not for real. So of course, I wake up and my throat is throbbing, my mouth is completely dry from the lack of nose breathing due to congestion.

Anyway I decided I should go to school and work since I missed yesterday. I half get ready and walk out the door. Immediately the cold freezes my throat and I start coughing and hacking before I even have gotten to my car.

Then I decided that even thought I am sick, I want to be one of those people that no one thinks ever has a bad day. So I started to think how grateful I am for the small things like being able to  buy medicine at ANY store, having money to buy medicine from a job. I followed it in a chain that ended with me being so grateful that I had the opportunity to drive to school and take classes on my time and still being able to work and live independently.

All the Sudden Things aren't so bad. . . so I traced my luck back to last week.

Friday my car made a scary noise, my loving brother came and rescued me since my tragic Big O accident, I am terrified of everything! Brennon drove my car to the one mechanic I trust and would recommend to everyone Hillside in Draper. They told me my CV joint was bad and that my car needed a new one which was going to be about $230. Which is about 2/3 my paycheck. LUCKILY  I have an insane urge to save money all the time so my saving is pretty large and the $230 was readily available and my car, Vern, is so stinkin' happy all the time.

I like to make jokes about my misfortune so I tell the story where my tire flew off all the time, to keep people remembering that things just aren't so bad. It was a bad experience, but all and all who else has been going 75mph when there tire flies off and looses their tire? It can be a little humorous.

No I am trying to make a joke and light out of how sick I have been feeling lately. It really seems to put me in a better mood instead  of feeling so sorry for myself, and then I will heal quicker. I just know it!

Valentines day??

Did I fool you?

I really did have a great v-day, but I choose not to write about it right now. Maybe one day in March when all the valentines blogs are done, because that's how I do it here on miki love.

Last Night, I hosted bunco. I get made fun of ALL the time for loving bunco. Apparently usually 70 year old women play it. However, so do 20 year old women and I love it!

We need to make one of these cakes for a bunco birthday.

I believe my bunco mates were meant to be my bff's. I love them all so much. A special Thank You goes out to Ms. Mary Bess, for letting me use her house to host. She also won most wins for the night and recieved a cute shadowbox picture frame.

Also to Ms. Cara Freakin' Johnson, for winning the prize I wanted most. I really cute Nica purse. She always wins, somehow. I will love her even though she scribbled LOSER across my card to rub it in that I ALWAYS lose. rude. . .

Ashlee won the second most wins, and got a cool fragrance set with a diffuser, bamboo sticks, and those packs you put in your closet or drawers to smell yummy.

Sommer (our sub): won a CUTE jewelry holder for most losses. I hope she loves it, because I love mine so much and thought it was a great prize!.

Bunco Nights get crazy. There is a lot of dirty jokes, inappropriate dancing, and candy. When you get 12 girls into a room what can you really expect? I love the third Wednesday of every month, because you guessed it, ITS BUNCO time!! :) 

If anyone who follows my blog ever wants to play, let me know! We need subs practically every month due to my mates who get sick, fly to michigan or costa rica! L.A.M.E! 

When they miss though we get killer subs, like Sommer, Kylie and Megan! Thanks to one and all the subs, who are my new found bunco sub bff's.

My Two Best Kept Secrets

Shh!

 I have the 2 best secrets to tell you. They keep me happy all the time and I want to share them with you, so that you can always be happy too!

First:
Get yourself a companion, who shows you all the the time that they love you. Even with very small acts of kindness like bringing you a special dinner when you  have 17 gajillion hours of homework to finish. It sounds simple, but what could honestly make you happier than the simple things?

Second:
Have a perfect puppy! This little pup is my baby. She puts a smile on my face for 50% of the day (Jared takes up the other half). She is funnier than any other dog I have ever known/ met or had. I think she loves me too, which is a pretty great feeling!

Love is Art

If you're recently single then Valentines probably isn't your most favorite Holiday, but if you're dating Jared DeMann, it most likely is! I also hope no one else is dating Jared. . .

This year will be mine and Jared's 3rd Valentines together! Kind of nuts, if you think about it. However this is the one Holiday a year that Jared seems to really get into, which is not usually a guy's personality. We've had a silent agreement where this is Jared's holiday. He gets to make the plans, decided what we are doing where we are going and other details.

Our first Valentines was pretty typical to anyone else, but for me it was original and the most beautiful night! I remember trying on about 5 different tops and asking my mom and dad how I looked then after I found the jeans I tried on about 10 different shoes and around 1 million optional accessories. When I finally had the right outfit on with approvals from my mom and dad, I headed out to meet Jared at his place. I had recently had my wisdom teeth pulled and was hoping he wouldn't notice the swelling and he tried not to, but it was fairly obvious! We got into his car, he opened my door, waited for me to sit down and put this gorgeous rose on my lap. I was so excited, I've never had a rose before. I didn't let go of the rose the whole drive. Then we drove downtown to the MacG and had some delicious meals and rented a movie. After I had assumed the night was over and we were curled up under a warm blanket, snuggling and watching TV he brought out a wrapped gift, which happened to be the most gorgeous and expensive jewelry I owned/ own, a really gorgeous necklace.

Perfect Vday one. check.

Last year on Valentines, Jared told me to pack my bags. I asked him "where are we going?" His reply "It's a surprise!" I had no idea what to pack and jared told me to pack the most random things. I.E. swimsuit, shorts, pajamas, winter coat, snow pants, boots, and cover ups.
I was extremely confused. We get in the car and he blind folded me so I had no idea where we were going. When I opened my eyes, we were in underground parking somewhere and so we walked out and we were at the Grand America in SLC. Jared had a suite ready and waiting for us. We then got food delivered to our room and ate while looking over all of SLC. It was absolutely gorgeous. He also had an entire outfit laid out on the couch, that he bought for me, including shoes! :)

Perfect Vday Two. check.

This year. . . I  have no idea what Jared has up his sleeve, but he has already started his cuteness. For about the past two weeks  on random days Jared has been sneaking small presents into my purse at night. I find them sometime the following day, when I open my purse. I remember that Jared is my perfect match!

You know there's mornings, when you have an icky pit in your stomache and just want to curl up under the covers and try to wake up again and things may be different?

I've had a pretty incredible week and I just want to be a ball of mush for a moment and say a few nice things about the people who make my life so fruggin' awesome.

Sometimes I get a little snotty with you, but that's why you had at least one girl yes? I knew it! I am glad that no matter how far I go, I always have you guys to come home too. Talk movie talk and cuddle with the wiener dogs. Not too mention my mom keeps my belly full with the most delicious meals I ever have had. All and All I would definitely not have made it and kept so strong insights and goals without both of you to support me in my decisions.

My only blood siblings in da world! I love you both. I often think that we are so lucky we have a small family so that we can make sure to stick our noses in eachother's business all the time. Sometimes the only person a girl needs is her brothers, to make everything better. I know for shiz, that you both have stood up for me a number of times and interrogated any boy I brought home to make sure he was going to treat me right, I constantly need both of your approvals, and I also like to make fun of you guys. There is no one better to make fun of then a brother, thanks for letting me tease. Don't forget that I am also very proud of you guys for being my guidances through life even if you're younger (bub) I look up to you!

 I really don't need to say to much to you, because I am a moosh head to you every time I talk. You've definitely probably shaped me the most over the past few years, and in all good ways. I don't think  I have ever met a more optimistic, light hearted, funny, generous, and good-advice-giving
person in my entire life. Thanks for letting me be your one girlfriend that counts ;)  Every night when I call, sometimes when I cry, when I feel sick, when I am so ecstatic . . .  you are the ONLY person I want to tell. I'd most likely die for you, except in the event we had a child because you'd be a punisher and I am the lover. (when you think of that last sentence think of Shia).

I love being at family dinners and family vacation, because I don't think there is anybody better to learn patience, understanding and open minds from then you guys. I have a lot to learn, so i'll probably stick around for a while.

I know I am not married and do  not have kids, but I feel that Jared and I really are a lot like you and Bryce. I love hanging out with you game through games and movies. I love looking hanging out with you guys and Bryce is probably the nice boy in the world. I love that helps me move and takes me to the airport. Mary you've been so good to me the past few years and I look up to how hard you work and what a wonderful marriage you  have.

Sorry I have to do couples or my fingers would be raw. I know you guys don't want to be grouped together. I look up to you both as a couple, because you're  doin' your thang. You guys are a blast to  be around and there is never a dull moment. I also really admire you Betsy, for graduating school. I like that about you ;)

You two get each other and are such good travel buddies. I want to travel the world and scuba dive and you guys definitely  have to come. Also I admire Will for going back to school even though he's already basically an electrical engineer, and for making his way in his job. I really like to hear about his success (he and brennon are a lot a like.) Dar - you were one of my first 'sisters'. I went through the hardest time in my life and you pulled me out. I really needed you then and am so glad you were there.

I am happy you two are so happy together. Devin and I were around each other a lot when you first met, and you are the prefect match. He was so stoked to help plan the wedding. He wanted so badly to make you  happy and for your day to be perfect. You were a gorgeous bride and you two seem to be such a happy couple. I want that one day :)

Josh I pretend, is my bff. He probably isn't really but becasue he is Jared's twin I feel very protective over him, strange yes. I look forward to seeing him all the time. He makes me laugh and recently has a keen sense for making me feel better.

You are such a good person to vent to. We have gone through a lot of the same things and just seem to have a lot of similarities and still a lot of differences which is probably why I feel like I never run out of things to say. :)

I think clayton is a bizarro christiaan. I love pretending he is my little brother too. He can tease me all day long, but my favorite thing about Clayton is how dang sweet he is to Elsie and Colt. He is going to be such a good boyfriend and even a better husband one day .. . . far enough away. He is only 18.

Wowza that turned out to be a longer post then expected, but I am feeling very loving today and when I feel loving you have to take those opportunities and seize them! ya know what I mean? All these peeps have made a huge difference in my life and I hope that I have influenced some of their lives as well.

So naughty, but so-oo cute!

Shia is still in her puppy phase. It is a hard time being a puppy mommy. She is so curious and gets into everything. It is cute to me, because I think everything she does is cute. Good thing I have Jared to discipline her, or she'd think it is okay to be so naughty all the time!

She has a time out spot where she goes when she knows she has been naughty, and I feel like over the last 3 days she's been there more than anywhere else. She has a BIG playpen set up in the garage for when we are gone during the day. The first week we had her she seemed to like it in there, she never whimpered or cried. She has all her toys and yummy water and treats, not to mention a heater and the radio to keep her company (one day i am going to get a TV and let  her watch doggie shows all day long.)

She's only in there for about 5 hours Mon. - Thurs. Laughter takes her out and lets her play on his lunch break. Its true that it takes a village to raise a puppy, by the way. Friday I have school later so she's in there less.

Anyway, last week she figured out how to scale the wall and get out of her pen. So over the weekend we bought sturdy chicken wire and tied it all down. Somehow yesterday, when we came home to get her out, she has broken out of the pen! She had RIPPED open a bag of charcoal! She didn't eat it, thank heavens. . .  also don't ask me how I had to find out if she ate any . .  gross!

Jared was fuming mad! I couldn't stop smiling, she had black spots all over her white little body and her smooshed in chubby face was totally black from sniffing around. Not to mention the garage was covered in little charcoal coals. It was a huge mess. We decided to make her shower and when we went to grab her i turned around and she was MIA. I knew that she was in a bath tub somewhere.  I go downstairs and find her with her paws and face all the way in the toilet slurping up a tasty drink. I couldn't stop laughing, she is just so naughty and yet she bring so much joy into my life. Of course, Jared puts her in time out and as soon as she gets out I start snapping pictures.
