Sometimes when you read a blog and see your name you get super excited. I was ecstatic when freaking cutie muncher Nichole liked my baby blog enough to want to learn more about me by giving me a 7x7 award. Not only that, but sometimes isn't it kind of fun to write solely about yourself? Not what you're doing, who you love, whats frustrating you or how cute your puppy is (which mine is being absolutely adorable right now snoring on my lap soaking up laptop heat with her feet and tongue twitching) - but just write about me! It sounds a little self indulging, but hey it happens! So here I am at 10pm (11pm now that I am proof reading) watching the LA Lakers and Dallas Mavericks (obviously not closely) and blogging about lil' old miki.

.seven. facts about the one and only, miki!
.1. I am convinced that I was meant to be born in Columbia. I will watch TV and listen to music in Spanish. I always have, don't understand why. i have an ungodly love for Shakira. I listen to all of her CD's in Spanish and English.
.2. Until I was married I have always had an iguana. My entire life I have owned 5 different ones name Stripey, Weezy, Squirt, Gordy and Dudley. When I lived at home a few years ago I had an iguana terrarium in my room, that was 6 feet tall and 4 feet wide! My iguana's loved it.
.3. I have a tattoo on my right hip. That I may have gotten on a senior trip in Mexico. No worries it is not a dolphin :)
.4. I can't feel 3 fingers on my right hand. My thumb, point and middle fingers, they are completely numb. This happened when I was about 9, and it was one of my identifiers in high school. I would get random people coming up to me asking to bite my fingers, proving I cannot feel them. Sadly I usually let them! Who just does that?
.5. I will only eat popcorn if it is dipped in ranch dressing. Everything is better with ranch. That is actually a scientific fact.
.6. This one is weird. I sleep in the shower. I take shower naps. I lay down and let the water massage my back and seriously sleep. It is one of my favorite sleeping spots. I am a good sleeper.
.7. I am sorry this last one is creepy. I love the smell of my dogs feet. I don't know why. I don't smell all dogs feet, just mine. When she is sleeping by me. I always take her paws and smell them. My husband made me promise never to tell anyone that, so he's going to be mad if he reads this. He's told me so many times to stop, because it is way too weird. Does anyone else do this?

love this! i laughed so hard on 6 & 7 (not a mean laugh, promise!). you are just too funny. i wish i could sleep in the shower. i have tried but i always fear i'm going to drown or something. as for smelling dogs' feet..girl you're on your own on that one. ;)

I know, I am a FREAK! My husband was right... it is super weird of me. The best part is now I do it in secret, so it's like i am doing drugs. Jared catches me spelling Shia's paws, and just says "miki come on.. stop!" ha!. Shower naps are the ultimate best. You have to train yourself, it's an art.
DeleteMy husband totally does #6! I thought it was so weird at first. He doesn't necessarily sleep-sleep (if that makes sense), but he will sit in the tub with the water running down him to relax. If he is stressed, I know where to find him!

That's great! I bet your husband is awesome. I tried to teach mine how to do shower naps, but he thinks its weird to lay down in the shower, plus he's too tall so it probably wouldn't be as comfortable. My tatty tat is two orange flowers, they're like each the size of a dime, so pretty small. I love them though. I think it's fun to have a hidden secret!

These facts are hilarious! I'm going to try and do this today or tomorrow. My three-year-old has decided that she doesn't like me working on the computer anymore, so we'll see how it goes! : )

That is definitely not weird. I do it all the time, or I try to hold in laughs because it's at the worst time and I make funny noises. Anyway, yes you must sleep in there. I take super long showers too, and I always am super sad when the water heater runs out, and once I even cried because I was napping and woke up to freezing cold water. All you have to do is get super comfortable lay down with out making gaps for water to pile up, turn the heat up up up! And bam! you're asleep :)
