Domesticated.

So as you all should know from my announcement yesterday, I am working on getting a new job. I interviewed for one today, and I felt very confident. The company was fun and it was exciting to be thinking about embarking on a new adventure in my life!

Anyway, since this is my last week at my job. We have been dwindling my work load, and so it’s going to be a slow, sad week full of goodbyes. On the positive side, today after my interview I came home and have been very domestic. I cleaned the kitchen, INCLUDING all the dishes, and then I started our master load of laundry. Jared and I accumulate so much laundry that it isn’t event funny. I can’t understand how between the two of us there is that much laundry. Seriously. I mean I usually wear my shirts a few times, and my pants a million times before I wash them. Unless I am sweaty and rolling in dirt then usually I will wash them. It’s a pretty good system. BUT Jared washes his shirts AND undershirts every freaking time he wears them. Plus the sock, ohhh the socks, there are like 2 thousand million gajillion socks. I roll my socks together, Jared just like lays them on top of one another, so we have like a huge ginormo stack of socks.
That is only HALF our laundry, that I am trying to tackle today.

To top off all my domestication, I also feel like I need to make some dinner. I usually don’t cook AT ALL, but it’s been that kind of week. We’ve made chicken and rice, steak and potatoes, corn and chicken, steak and pasta, ARTICHOKES! So anyway, I guess being home does that to you. Makes you a house cat, or a house dog. Just a domestic creature. What should I make for dinner?
P.S. If you haven’t tried that Famous Dave’s sauce, it’s a must. It’s so good!

P.S. DONT FORGET our Vlog link-up goes live tomorrow. Where we are all showing off what is inside our closets! Make your video tonight, and link-up. It's going to be tons of fun! I was already sharing with Justyn our videos are freaking hilarious. I can't wait to see what is inside your closet!

  5. I can totally relate to the laundry... Michael wears a full work outfit (pants, undies, shirt, sweatshirt, long johns, socks) and then a casual outfit (pants, undies, shirt, socks) and requires that they get washed after just one wear. Drives me bonkers. But it keeps Gain Detergent in business :)

    1. OH MY GOSH! That would kill me in 100 ways, or I would just retire from doing laundry! I get so annoyed with laundry, just because it takes so long. You have to wait all day to finish it, ya know?

  8. Since becoming a stay at home, I've become very domesticated!! It's not a bad thing...but it gets exhausting when do every single day of the week, of the month, of the year. But yay for job interviews!!

    1. Dude, it seriously is exhausting. I had to take a nap after all the cleaning. Plus our house is always kind of a mess. It's just the two of us, and we have a roommate the rents out a room in our basement, but somehow we are the messiest little family ever!

  9. I get to be domestic on Wednesdays when I'm off work. That's nice of you to do Jared's laundry. I ONLY do my own, unless I'm feeling nice. Haha. Hope your interview went well today! Oh I'm so nervous about the link up tomorrow. I did my video, but totally hate it! Hahahaha.

    1. I should put the law in place up in here, I get so sick of doing his laundry. Sometimes he does mine though, so I guess I shouldn't complain too much. I have the rest of this week to be domestic! yeah baby! I CANNOT WAIT to see your video! I bet I will crack up.

  10. UGHH I hate that my husband uses his clothes for only one day! It drives me INSANE! He will wash the clothes, BUT he'll NEVER I mean NEVER put not even a pair of socks away, so our clothes get stacked into piles until we don't know what is clean and what is dirty anymore...I HATE laudry, it really is going to be the death of me :)

    1. SERIOUSLY! Don't they know how long it takes us to do their laundry when they wash everything every freaking day!? It drives me crazy too! I am pretty sure everyone hates laundry. I think it's because it takes so damn long. Like you're in for a full day of folding and hanging, and sorting. It's no good I tell you. Plus we always wait till it build up a crazy large pile, so its takes a lifetime.
