I really want to apologize for my absence today. It’s 3:30pm, and I am barely thinking about my blog. Usually I jump out of bed just shaking, because I am ready to BLOG! Anyway this was a long weekend for all of us. Unfortunately my birthday week came to an end, honestly I am not sure if I could take one more day of birthday celebrations. When I woke up on Sunday, I had quite the task of cleaning set before me! I cleaned my heart out. So much, that I barely had time to shower, and definitely didn’t have time to blow dry my hair - or at least that’s my excuse as to why I look like a fro ball today.
Also this was a long fur mama/ daddy weekend. Shia has had this really slight limp for the past few days. Jared and I weren’t to worried, but decided to take her to the vet anyway. I made an appointment for this morning, and they don’t think it’s anything serious. Probably just a sprain, but you can’t be too careful with bulldogs. They are known for health problems, and Shia has already tore her ACL so like I said we can’t be too careful. We have puppy insurance, so the little bugger, is totally covered. It’s such a relief to know that I can take her to the vet, when I am just worried, and not have to pay a million dollars for a simple visit. The insurance covers 80% of all visits and all procedures. They are AWESOME with us.
Lastly, I still have to record my Vlog. This month we decided to do “What’s on your bucket list??” I think it will be tons of fun! I can’t wait to see what other people want to do before they kick the bucket. I think it will be a bit easier to do than our last “What’s in your closet” vlog, because it’s not embarrassing to show your bucket list, like it is your closet :) I hope you’re planning to link-up it’s always a fun vlog party!

Also, I will sit at my NEW blogging desk/home office tonight and answer all my emails. I promise. Scouts honor.
Ooooh the vlog sounds fun! I'll join in... If I can think of a bucket list in time!! Glad you had a great birthday week, your new desk's beautiful xx
ReplyDeleteI still need to come up with one, so I bet you can! I love the desk so much! Thanks girl!
DeleteI still don't know what to put on my bucket list vlog, but I know I want to do it!
ReplyDeleteOh man neither do I, and I am hosting it. I am SO good at procrastinating, like the best! ha ha! I hope you link up! I love these vlogs!
Deletehow cute is that furbaby of yours just posing for the camera? shia and sharks would be best friends. i just know it.
ReplyDeleteIsn't she just a little model baby? I bet her and Sharks would love each other. Sharks pulls really cute faces, and steal pillows just like Shia!
DeleteGlad you had a fun rest of your birthday weekend! Must have been a fun, crazy celebration to leave such a mess. Haha. Hope the first few day of being 22 have been amazing! Sorry to hear about you little pup. Hope it's nothing too serious. Wow, the vlog is this week? Hmmm. I don't even have a bucket list and not sure I can get around to videoing before then. Uggg. We'll see. p.s. I love your desk!
ReplyDeleteI have a secret.. I found some really cute stuff today, and I bought some to send you. Now my birthday is over, and yours is NEXT! I am all about celebrating, and nothing is better than a gift in the mail. It's going to epic! As for the blog, I really need to find time to record one.. like right now. But answering comments is more fun!
DeleteI'm obsessed with your blog, by the way. I'm happy you had a great birthday weekend, even if you had to clean up that mess afterwards. :)!
ReplyDeleteBlake
I just love you, and I adore every one of your comments! They are the best! Not even joking. I don't mind cleaning up when it was that much fun!! ;)
DeleteAs if she couldn't be anymore cute she poses at the new momcave.
ReplyDeleteRight? She probably was alleviating gas, but when you can't smell it.. She's so damn cute! I love my mom cave! It's the best idea since giving my husband his own room to make a mess in. ha ha!
DeleteGah...the dog is just too stinkin' cute! My doggy had a limp too for a few days, we don't have doggy insurance, so we had to wait it out. I figure he probably stepped on a bee or something. It cleared up.
ReplyDeleteI've never had puppy insurance before this dog! But man oh man, bulldogs have horrible health so we decided to do it. I am so glad we did, because she tends to seriously injure herself a lot! I honestly don't think she needed the visit (knock on wood) but it was good to get her some dog ibuprofen.
DeleteBulldogs are prone to health problems?? Eeek, I am trying to work out what dog to get and was toying with the idea of a bulldog...maybe not now :P
ReplyDeleteAs a general rule, all pure breed dogs are prone to some kind of health problem. We are on our second English Bulldog and would not change a thing.

Yes. They are a man made breed and have lots of difficulties. I agree with Kara, I am in love with everything about my bully. I will never own another breed. Bulldogs4life! I just made that up.. clever eh??
DeleteFrom one bulldog lover to another, please send the pup lots of hugs and kisses!

She is spoiled normally, but not I GET to extra spoil her, and there is nothing wrong with that! I love my cuddle monster! I can't believe how cute your bully is, I want to kiss little cupcake all over!!
DeleteI'm so sorry that it's taken me forever to tell you Happy Birthday. I'm so glad you had a good one - and I can't wait for our linkup tomorrow!

I am a total fro ball sometimes! My hair can be such a disaster zone. I need to get my act together and record this vlogggy!
Deleteshia is too cute! i am trying to convince my husband that we need pet insurance for our new pup..do you mind me asking what company you use? i did a quote though VPI that seemed pretty reasonable...but i wonder if there's a better one out there! :)
ReplyDeleteHey Kate! I am a HUGE believe in pet insurance, and we use Trupanion. They have been AWESOME with us! They pay 90% of all the bills, and for Shia's ACL surgery it was over $2600 dollars, they paid the vet directly and we just paid them $260 after it was all taken care of. So hassle free. They also tweet me, which makes me feel pretty cool :)
